You know what really grinds my gears? 6

You know what really grinds my gears? People that don't do what they say. This pisses me off because if you have plans with someone but they never show up, or someone promises you something and never follows through it just gets old. After a while you stop believing them, stop relying on them, and they fade out of your life. I have had one person to do this to me constantly in my life, and I can't believe much of what she says even though she's my biological mom.

Throughout the years she has been in and out of my life, saying we would have plans like me going down to visit her in Texas, or her coming up to visit me. It hasn't happened in over 6 years, and after 6 years of hearing all of these promises and none of them coming true... I just can't much of anything she says. As much as I want her to be in my life I know it will never be what I want it to be. It sucks but I have to deal with it, and I understand that part of the reason she's like this is because of the accident she was in, but still I don't see why people don't do what they say they're going to do. Don't break promises follow through especially if they're promises to people you love, because if you break those promises you'll lose the ones you love forever.

You know what really grinds my gears? 5

You know what really grinds my gears? People that swear at school. As a person that swears like a sailor I understand why people swear, but there is a limit to how much you should swear also when and where you swear. If you're in a public place like school or the mall swearing a lot and loud isn't something you should be doing. I can't stand it when I'm walking down the hall or sitting at lunch and I hear "fuck this!" or "she's a bitch!", like don't swear loud! Honestly if you're going to swear it should be if you got hurt, stubbed your toe on something not just for the hell of it.

The reason why I don't like people swearing in public is because for one it's rude, and it makes you look like a disrespectful person even if you're not. One day a few years ago I was in a class room talking about when I went cliff jumping in the summer. I'll leave out the details of the story but lets just say I hit my foot on a rock and told my buddy all the swears I said. The awkward part was my teacher overheard only the swearing part of our conversation, and her image of the good innocent Noah changed forever. I got talked to and learned from that day that swearing doesn't make you look cool, you look like a fool and to this day I make sure only my buddies can hear the stories I'm telling. I'm not saying you can't swear because I do all the time, I'm just saying that there is a time and a place for everything but school is not one of them. That my friends is what really grinds my gears.
